What is happening at reacha in 2022?
2-year manufacturer's warranty
For 4 years, you have put our reacha through its paces on your various adventures with several 100,000 km of mileage. In your experience reports, you have repeatedly emphasised the sturdiness and durability of the reacha.
For this reason, we have decided to extend our manufacturer's warranty to 2 years.
We want to thank you for your trust and your honest and detailed input.
10-year spare parts guarantee
Since your adventures wouldn't be adventures if they weren't a bit wilder, we have decided to extend the spare parts guarantee to 10 years from the date of purchase.
So don't be afraid of extraordinary manoeuvres with your reacha. We are there for you and will help you with the right spare part.
And that for at least 10 years.
Sustainability 2022
Many of you are not yet aware that 85% of reacha comes from Europe.
Production sites
Our high-strength aluminium frame tubes are manufactured in Europe. The frame construction is formed from these in Upper Bavaria and finally assembled into the finished reacha in Gmund am Tegernsee.
Our wheels come from Italy and the majority of the plastic components are made in Bavaria.
In this way, we keep the transport routes as short as possible and always keep an eye on the working conditions during production.
Packaging
Since last year, we have been using a reusable transport system for transport between our producer and our headquarters. Instead of cardboard boxes on Euro pallets, our components arrive at our premises in deposit grid boxes without any additional packaging waste.
We are already working at full speed on an intelligent packaging system for shipping our reacha in order to significantly reduce the quantities of cardboard boxes in the course of the year.
Design & Sustainability
Through refined designs within our reacha construction, we will reduce the amount of plastic used in the 2-digit percentage range.

Price increase from 1 February 2022
After stable sales prices in 2020 and 2021, we will increase our sales prices as of 1 February 2022. We would like to explain the reasons for this in the following.
Good news in advance for all those who decide quickly.
In the period from 1 March to 31 March we offer a 10% PRE-SEASON DISCOUNT on all our products.
How are our prices made up?
Our sales price is the combination of raw material or material price, transport costs, production costs, stock, shipping, customer service, product development, administration, insurance, taxes, reserves and profit.
Inflation - energy and labour costs
We are all feeling the development on the money market lately. Inflation is significantly higher than in previous years. This interacts with the wage and energy costs of our European production and thus has an impact on the production price.
Commodity price development
The main components of our reacha are aluminium (approx. 4.7kg), plastic (approx. 1.24kg), rubber (approx. 2.2kg for a "reacha SPORT street 24") and some steel (approx. 0.88kg).
For all these commodities, the price of raw materials has risen in the past 18 months, and for some commodities it has even exploded. Price increase rates of up to 70% are also upsetting our procurement of goods. In addition, our reacha is in the environment of bicycle production and we are also feeling the enormous pressure of demand here.
Shipping costs
Last but not least, despite trying to keep our transport distances as short as possible, we are affected by the general increase in transport costs.
In a nutshell
We can only cushion the sum of these effects in part through increased volumes, good relationships with our suppliers and cost-cutting measures.
